OF REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA
DECREES
the following:
REGISTRATION LAW OF CRIMINAL
CHAPTER I
General Provisions
Article 1 .- Establishment of the Criminal History Registry
to take the Ministry of Justice, in accordance with this Act
Article 2 .- In Criminal History Registry shall contain
for each convicted by a final judgment,
the following:
a) Name, surname, identity card number, age, dry,
date and place of birth, nationality, profession and
marital status.
b) Crime or referred to lack conviction.
c) Aggravating or mitigating circumstances.
d) primary or recurrent nature.
e) Sentencing and the Court that issued them.
f) Repair of damage to the victim.
g) Payment of costs.
h) Place or compliance prison
conviction.
i) Conduct prison.
j) Knowledge and ability to work acquired during
the period of detention.
k) data on psychological and psychiatric examinations to
whatever subject.
l) data on the personality and potential
rehabilitation.
Article 3 .- Criminal Background is considered under this Act
only the existence of one or more statements
definitely firm convictions, deprivation of liberty
.
Article 4 .- The courts handed down sentences that referred to the
preceding article, shall be submitted to the Office of
Criminal History, a certified copy of it within
ten days after its publication.
Article 5 .- The Director of Prisons sent
the Ministry of Justice, upon completion of a sentence, the data
referred to in subparagraphs i), j), k) l) of Article 2, without prejudice
shipping reports that are required in
virtue of their functions.
CHAPTER II
Nature's Criminal History Registry
Article 6 .- The judicial records and the data is secret

established by law. The police or administrative
no longer issue certificates for

Article 8 .- It is prohibited to any company or person, require

Criminal History presentation.
CHAPTER III
Of the Organization of the Registry and Criminal History
Article 9 .- The judicial records have the following sections
:
a) first offenders;
b) Reina;
c) Over 18 years and under 21.
article 10 .- The Register for over 18 years of age and
under 21, will also indicate: Minor

Article 11 .- The Ministry of Justice an Office of
Criminal Record attached to the Directorate of Prisons,
to take charge of the Criminal History Registry.
Article 12 .- The Attorney General of the Republic shall appoint a Prosecutor
Minister for the periodic review Register
Criminal History to verify the accuracy of
data for each record.
CHAPTER IV
From Criminal and Administrative Sanctions
Article 13 .- Without prejudice to the penalties laid down
in the Civil Service Law, The official who disclosed
, communicate or publish the data in the
judicial records, shall be punished by
penalty of three (3) fifteen (15) months in prison.
CHAPTER V
Final Provisions
Article 14 .- The administrative decisions under the Act

a special section of Criminal History Registry,

Article 15 .- It repealing provisions that conflict with this Law
